At Project Comunidad, our mission is to provide essential resources and support to individuals and families facing economic hardships, empowering them to meet their basic human needs and achieve stability in their lives.

Our Programs
We offer a variety of programs to help our community members meet their needs. We have our Community Cupboard food pantry open five days a week where community members can come once a month to get a food box. We also have our community closet where we offer weather-appropriate clothing to those in need. And more!

Updates
No more Food distributions! Why and how to still get your food box
As of this month, September 2025, we will no longer be having food distributions. We realized that with the food distributions, people were lining up the day before, making it hard for the people who showed up for the scheduled time to receive food. We are hoping that by eliminating the distributions, we will reduce the fear of scarcity and be better able to ensure that everyone who comes in gets what they need. The food pantry will continue to be open Monday through Friday, 9 am to 12 pm. You come in to the pantry once a month for food. We have increased our pantry order and hope that this will better assist us in serving everyone more effectively. We appriciate your support and patience as we transition and figure out the amounts needed to ensure everyone has what they need.
